Visually, Escalante is home to the unseen, the unknown... literally the last place to be explored in the magnificent Southwest. The huge sandstone arches, the colorfully twisting slot canyons, the vast expanses of wilderness... its all right here. The “best of the best”, if you will. Because of this, the GSENM must be highly protected, and commercial filming here is a privilege.
