Start at the top of a fantastic slot canyon.  Slowly hike down the canyon using your feet, hands and butt to make it easy.  When its is too “spicy” to slide, we use the equipment you are wearing to safely and smoothly rappel down to begin hiking again.   Depending on the choice, during a full day of canyoneering there may be as few as 1-2 short rappels.  The rope is a only simple tool we use to make things easier and safer, not a means of unnecessarily scaring people.

Surprising to guests:

• We are not “climbing" up a canyon, we are descending.
• Upper body and “grip” strength play a minimal role.
• It’s similar to Yoga and nothing like Ninja Warrior.
• How simple and safe the concepts are.
• Once done descending, we remove gear, add sunscreen, hike out.
• We have options! There are countless canyon choices.
• Youngest 5yrs of age, oldest 83yrs.  Both kicked butt!
